Baltimore Ravens player Jeremy Zuttah took "man's best friend" to the next level when he included his pit bull,Diotta Fatou Ace, as a groomsman in his wedding last month.
According to local reports, Zuttah and his now-wife Heran Haile had originally planned to tie the knot at city hall, but changed their minds when they discovered Ace wouldn't be able to serve as a witness.
Man's best witness.
Instead, the two opted for a converted gym — where Ace quickly become the star of the show (sorry, actual newlyweds).
Zuttah and Haile adopted Ace when they were both students eight years ago, and they've been advocates for pet adoption ever since. They even inspired another NFL player, Ronnie Stanley, to adopt a shelter dog earlier this summer.
Here's hoping that dog will also don formalwear someday.
