Larger screens aren’t the only perk bringing you closer together. Portal’s smart cameras use AI to “follow” people’s movements within a 140-degree field. So when your love is dashing around looking for their keys, you kind of feel like you’re there.

The smart camera also widens as more people come into view. This is a good perk for long-distance families — oh, and so is the AR storytelling feature that gives you werewolf faces.

Portal also comes with Alexa built in, so you can tell it to stream music, turn up the thermostat and watch videos from partners like Facebook Watch.
