Schneider shared a document on Twitter that details the company's contributions, which were filed on August 28. While many on Twitter stood in support of the burger chain because of their political beliefs, In-N-Out was called out by some customers.

Eric Bauman, chair of the California Democratic Party, was one of the folks online urging people to boycott the chain under the inventive hashtag #BoycottInNOut. "Let Trump and his cronies support these creeps ... perhaps animal style!," he wrote.

In-N-Out, founded in 1948, isn't the first fast food corporation to come under attack for their political standings in the past few years. Chick-fil-A has been scrutinized for its backing of the "biblical definition of a family." Papa John's founder used a racial slur during a conference call and blamed NFL protests for its slumping sale. Waffle House even has donated large sums of money to Karl Rove's super-PAC.

All are still in business, however, so whether or not this particular boycott will make an impact on the billionaire owned In-N-Out is still to be determined.
