Hillary Clinton is firing back at Donald Trump after his harsh Twitter rant this morning.
Trump kicked off his Friday by hopping on Twitter to share thoughts about his opponent Hillary Clinton and her decision to include former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who Trump has referred to as "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping," in her presidential campaign.
After Trump further bashed the character of Machado and Clinton on Twitter, the Clinton campaign composed some tweets of her own to set the record straight and publicly give the Republican candidate a piece of her mind.

He also took aim at "Crooked Hillary" by asking if she helped Machado become a citizen of the United States so she could use her in the election.

The Democratic candidate bashed Trump for insulting Machado and further dragging her name through the mud, saying, "Alicia deserves praise for courageously standing up to Trump's attacks." Clinton also called upon Trump's inability to let things go, which she described as "dangerous for a president."
In her Twitter rant, Clinton included a highlighted passage from a Los Angeles Times article, which shows a witness confirming that Donald Trump told managers of his California golf club that the "restaurant hostesses were 'not pretty enough' and that they should be fired and replaced with more attractive women."

Clinton's campaign also took this ranting time to recall other examples of Trump's disrespect for women, such as his feud with Rosie O'Donnell and comments on Kim Kardashian's weight, which were reminiscent of her campaign advertisement that featured several young girls looking inquisitively at themselves in the mirror, while Trump speaks negatively about women in a voiceover.

The Clinton Twitter flow came to a close as she reflected upon the foolishness of Trump's five-day-long "Machado meltdown," announcing that while Trump continues to dwell on Machado, the Clinton campaign will "be in Florida talking about national service."
On Friday afternoon following Clinton's defense via Twitter, Alicia Machado responded to Trump's tweetstorm with a press release stating that Trump and his campaign are once again targeting her with "cheap lies with bad intentions."
"Through his attacks, he's attempting to distract from his campaign's real problems and his inability to be the leader of this great country," she said. "I will continue to stand on my feet, sharing my story and my absolute support for Secretary Clinton, on behalf of all women -- my sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, women within the community."
Trump posted a follow-up tweet after receiving a great deal of criticism from people questioning why he was tweeting about Machado before sunrise.
