A Durango, Colorado, family woke to learn that their Subaru had been broken into in the night and taken on a joyride. By a bear.

"Usually, I don’t get up at 5 o’clock unless there is a bear driving a car down the street," Ron Cornelius, the neighbor in question, told The Durango Herald.
When the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene it was determined that a bear was to blame, due to the shocking damage to the vehicle interior and the fact that there was a huge pile of bear turds in the car. The steering wheel had been torn off, the radio ripped out, and the back window broken. The bear had most likely released the parking break and panicked as the car began to roll backwards.
Who knows what the bear could get itself into, now that it has a taste for grand theft auto.
