No longer a freshman Marvel director,Terms of service Jon Watts is in talks to direct the untitled Spider-Man: Homecomingsequel. Watts directed the hit film, which earned $117 million in its first weekend and starred Tom Holland as a 15-year-old Spider-Man.
SEE ALSO: The Evolution of Spider-ManHomecoming, which Watts also co-wrote, was the director's first major blockbuster, and in addition to its formidable box office numbers, it's also a damn good time at the movies. Homecomingalso marked the debut of Zendaya as Peter Parker's classmate Michelle. We know Zendaya will have a sizable role in the sequel compared to Homecoming, and can probably expect more guest appearances from Iron-Man and the other Avengers.
The Spider-Man: Homecomingsequel will arrive in 2019.
