Today,Taste of Future Sister-in-law the topic “Several Executives of NetEase Games Taken Away for Investigation” went viral on the Chinese social platform Weibo. NetEase issued an internal email this morning to respond to the recent scandal involving corruption among NetEase Games executives, stating that the company has thoroughly investigated and addressed two cases of corruption and fraud. Nine employees have been subjected to criminal coercive measures, and 27 companies associated with these cases have been blacklisted by NetEase for permanent noncooperation. Additionally, an internal industry chat group suggested that the investigation may involve amounts exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars [Weibo Topic, in Chinese]
