SF Tongcheng,Korea Archives a subsidy of China’s largest express delivery company SF Express, is eyeing on-demand delivery service in Hong Kong as the Hong Kong-listed unit recorded its first yearly profit in 2023. The entry will likely serve as a start to SF Tongcheng’s overseas expansion. The service will operate under the name “SoFast” beginning in July, according to SF Tongcheng’s Wednesday announcement, with a delivery focus on documents and small parcels within the island’s territory. According to a report by Chinese media outlet Jiemian, delivery riders will earn up to HKD$ 300 per hour, and have flexibility in work time and tasks. In mainland China, SF Tongcheng offers city-wide 30-minute deliveries. [Jiemian, in Chinese]
