For those unfamiliar with the concept of a mince pie, it's a small sweet pie bursting with dried fruits and spices—a.k.a. mincemeat—that's eaten in the UK in the run-up to Christmas.
The bakery is encasing sweet, spicy mincemeat in croissant pastry to create a seasonal British-French fusion.
"This all-butter croissant filled with rich, sweet mincemeat and dusted with icing sugar is the perfect grab-and-go snack whilst on the move, and makes for the ideal breakfast to wake up to on Christmas morning," reads an official comment from Paul.
The mince pie croissants will land in Paul stores on 28 November, priced at £1.75.
Brits, this is our time.
