"Right now Obamacare is failing. We have a failing -- I shouldn't say this to our great gentleman and my friend from Australia, because you have better healthcare than we do," Trump told Turnbull, referencing Australia's publicly-funded, universal healthcare system.

On MSNBC, Bernie Sanders was watching. And he cracked up good.

Australia's Medicare, has been in place for more than 40 years, working alongside a private system. Australian taxes go toward funding the system, which ensure that everyone in the country has health care coverage, irrespective of their income, status, orpre-existing conditions.

"The President has just said it. That's great. Let's take a look at the Australian healthcare system, and maybe he wants to look at the Canadian healthcare system, or systems throughout Europe. Thank you Mr. President, let us move to a Medicare for all system," a delighted Sanders told MSNBC.
