A Darth Vader mask made of solid gold will go on fingering videossale in Japan next week, with the hefty price tag of $1.4 million.

The 24 karat gold mask will be available for purchase -- when else? -- on May the 4th, otherwise known as Star Wars Day.
The jewellers are also planning to release gold coins in celebration of the anniversary, for a range between $1,200 and $11,000.
Tanaka Kikinzoku has in the past created gold versions of various commemorative products, including a solid gold cast of Lionel Messi's left foot, which went on sale for a hefty $5 million.
