That 1978 classic take on The Erotic Adventures of ZorroThe Wizard of Oz,"The Wiz" and Kanye West don't have all that much in common. But when Solange Knowles has a dream of bringing them together, the people wouldn't dare deny her it.

The singer put the call out on Twitter for someone to mash up a scene from a film with West's 808s and Heartbreaktrack "Bad News," and the internet came to her rescue immediately.

"Can somebody make a video collage of the "bad news" scene from The Wiz, to Kanye's "Bad News" and send it to me please?," she asked on Twitter.

Two people jumped on the challenge, and the results are just as wonderfully bizarre as you might imagine.

"I had a dream of pairing bad news (The Wiz) and "Bad News (Kanye) together... and Rona Akbari and Hunter Harris made my dreams come true. For this I am forever grateful," she wrote on Instagram.

The pairing, surprisingly, works.

"This is blowing my mind. Especially the first 15 seconds and the instrumental break," she later explained on Twitter. "Man, thank you guys. Made my day."

Sometimes, the Internet just gets you. Probably helps when you're one of the coolest of cool-kid R&B acts and the sister of one of the most famous celebrities of the world, but still!
