As we all know by now,Six Swedish Girls at a Pump (High Test Girls the internet is quick to any and everything funny, weird, and downright confusing. We admire, and are maybe just a little bit frightened by, this fact.
President Donald Trump paid a visit to Saudi Arabia this weekend, the first stop on his first foreign trip as president. While there, he gave a highly-anticipated speech about Islam, and attended the opening ceremony of the Global Centre for Combating Extremist Ideology in Riyadh with Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi. This ceremony involved touching a cool glowing orb.

Twitter made so many jokes about Trump touching the orb that one brilliant internet wizard jumped on this new meme fast, and created a Wikipedia page for "Trump orb" to explain exactly what the hell everyone's talking about. Twitter user eve peyser was just as surprised as we were to find out that such a page had already been created.

According to the page, Twitter users compared the image to The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, The Wizard of Oz, and even Space Jam.It also states that the photograph was "described as odd or eerie by some commentators" and "was quickly disseminated through and was soon picked up by mainstream news venues internationally."
The author even includes some great captions to the odd orb pictures, such as "William Kristol's "Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble" (a line from Macbeth) and Matthew Yglesias' sarcastic "Elites scoff, but in the working class suburbs of Grand Rapids voters are glad Trump is practicing orb magic with Arab dictators."
If we knew who the author was, we'd thank him or her for their service. We needed someone to decipher this moment for us. Please make more pages to explain what's happening in this world, k thanks.
