The Ghost Over Flowers (2014) UncutCrownfans are eating well this week. This time, we get to devour a delectable glimpse at Season 4's portrayal of Princess Diana in her iconic wedding dress.
Played by new talent Emma Corrin, the show debuted her look as Princess Di on Wednesday, Sept. 30. That photo drop also delivered our first scintillating tease of national treasure Gillian Anderson as the equally iconic Margaret Thatcher.
Here's Corrin in a recreation of the famed dress.

The dress, credited to award-winning costume designer Amy Roberts, certainly captures the original's strong '80s energy. But a tweet also clarifies that it is indeed an interpretation rather than a stitch-by-stitch replica, focused on evoking the spirit but perhaps not the overabundance of shoulder pads that hasn't aged as well as our memories of the princess herself.
For fans of fashion, pop culture, and the royal family, The Crown's tease is nothing short of catnip. From the intricate lacing at the bottom to Corrin's delicately folded hands, the image is both visually lush and emotionally telling.
We're all but ready to say, "I do" to Season 4 of the Netflix hit, which is supposed to premiere on Nov. 15, 2020.
