Want to raise the price of EpiPens?Hindi Tayo Pwede (2020) Full Pinoy Movie Full Movie Online Now you can make it happen.
A new computer game lets you be Heather Bresch, the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Mylan, which came under fire recently for its systematic hikes to EpiPen prices.
The satirical game is from GOP Arcade, a site that makes games tied into politics and news.
In EpiPen Tycoon, you, as Bresch, have to raise the price of the EpiPen to get the highest salary possible.
Depending on what you do to the price, outrage either grows among the public or among your investors. To stop public outrage, you can deploy handy options like "Call Senator (Dad)." (Bresch's father is West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin.)
But if you don't keep the price high enough, you'll get fired.
At the same time, customers having allergic reactions to bee stings or peanuts walk into Mylan's offices. When the price is manageable, they buy EpiPens. When it gets too high, they die.
Mylan raised the prices of the EpiPen from an average of $50 each in 2007 to $600 for a two-pack today. After incurring public outrage and inquiries from Congress during back-to-school season last month, when many parents had to buy EpiPens for their children, the company announced it would take some steps to lower the cost of EpiPens for families.
The prices, however, are still causing alarm among parents and lawmakers, and Bresch is still in charge at Mylan. Even though she may have lost in EpiPen Tycoon.
