The dating app Hater, which connects people based on stuff they can't stand, used info from their users to figure out what topics and things people in each state hate the most. The results might surprise you.
Ok, so is it just us or are most of these head-scratchers?
Some stuff kind of makes sense, like New Yorkers hating Times Square or Connecticut hating winter. (It's cold in the Northeast, folks.) But then we have stuff like "biting string cheese"... Who knew thatmany people in Illinois hated something so specific and so avoidable?
There is so much to dissect here. Like what did Jerry Seinfeld do to Kansas to inspire such disdain? Colorado, it is 2017, why do you still have beef with *NSYNC? Also what kind of tuna are they eating in Georgia, cause I do not want to try it.
Other states are pretty relatable though. Shoutout to Minnesota -- drinking alone does suck.
But Pride and Prejudicein Michigan? Surely there are worse pieces of literature. And then there is Mississippi's hatred of anal sex, which certainly deserves some analysis.
The only thing we know for sure is that a year from now California will almost definitely have moved on from hating "fidget spinners."
