Instagram is Eng Subchanging up the navigation center on its app.
Right now, when you log into Instagram, the bottom of the app offers you five options: home, search, Reels, shop, and profile. In February, Instagram recently announced, the shop tab will be removed and replaced with create, that plus sign in a box that currently sits to the left of your notifications on the top of the app.

"The idea here is to simplify Instagram and focus it more on what we're trying to do," Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, said in a post on Instagram. "We're trying to bring people together over what they love. And as a reminder, to do that we're focused on three things: on inspiring people to express themselves, on helping people discover what they love, and on sparking connections between people over what they find. And we hope this new, simpler version of Instagram focuses more on those three things."
This doesn't mean Instagram is removing the contentious shopping ability altogether, though — you'll still be able to set up and run your shop just as you always have, and you'll still be able to shop through your feed, in Stories, in Reels, and via ads.
