China Post Group recently established a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) subsidiary in Beijing,Watch Four Riders (Hellfighters of the East) Online as the state-owned postal service giant of China aims to boost the low-altitude drone economy, according to the business data platform Tinayancha. The new drone firm, backed by a registered capital of RMB 100 million ($13.7 million), is responsible for the manufacturing of intelligent UAVs, R&D of intelligent robots, AI hardware sales, and AI application systems. Last week, China Post conducted the first drone flight for postal delivery, exploring its use to overcome mail delivery challenges in mountainous areas.
